Welcome to The Coble and Keelboat Society 's pages.

Welcome to our web site which gives an introduction to our relatively small Society. Our members have one thing in common, they like boats. In particular traditional working boats (pimarily built in wood) of the North East such as cobles and keel boats, however, many members have interests allied to this common theme, e.g. photography, history, creating models, fishing communities, etc. The members backgrounds also vary a great deal and ranges from working and retired fishermen, ex-merchant navy, boat owners, and after that the remainder come from areas unrelated to boats and the sea.

If you see any text in green move the cursor over it for more information, e.g. CKS

On our Pictures page there are some photographs of CKS's activities this year and some of the boats at the events.
